Amita offers Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) for Clients who may benefit from the addition of a four-legged friend in session.
Ollie, a 9-year-old shih-tzu/poodle mix, is a Therapy Dog certified by the Alliance of Therapy Dogs.
A trained therapy animal can provide a sense of calm, comfort, or safety. Clients who have worked with Amita & Ollie report increased ability to regulate their emotions, stability and grounding when discussing challenging subject matter, improved communication, connection, and trust.
